Burgundy Wine
A big name in the wine world, the home of terroirs and climats, Burgundy has a unique identity since the beginning of winemaking history in France. Bourgogne (in French), the vine plantation can be traced back to the medieval period. Burgundian Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, have become the staples as well as the quality of great wines!
One important notion in Burgundy is "climat". Because of the earth-plane movements back in the Jurassic period, the nutrient-rich seabed had risen from the deep sea to become Burgundy today. The mosaic geographical structure gives the wines with a unique complexity which cannot be replicated anywhere else.
