Beaujolais Wine
From light-bodied, aromatically expressive and easy-drinking Beaujolais Nouveau to concentrated, serious & ageable Beaujolais Cru red wines; Beaujolais will have something for everyone regardless of the occasions. Locals often refer it as the "glou-glou" wine region in France.
Beaujolais, a wine region which was first cultivated by the Romans is also the hometown of Gamay Noir grape. 98% production is red!
Unlike its parent grape Pinot Noir, Gamay is yield efficient and ripened earlier than Pinot Noir and offers more concentrated and fruitier wine in a much larger abundance. Second to Champagne, this is the only French wine region which hand-pick harvest is mandatory in order to ensure the best qualitative grapes are chosen.
We love to serve Beaujolais Red slightly chilled, let it spin in a balloon shape glass to bring out the aroma & textural harmony. Follow us on our new wine adventure to learn, experience & taste what this emerging appellation has to offer!
