2022 Domaine Castagnier Coteaux Bourguignons Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes
From 70-year-old vines harvested in Morey-Saint-Denis, this 2022 Pinot Noir marries finesse and freshness with a gentle touch of oak. Bright red cherry and raspberry meet rose petal and subtle spice; the palate is tender, elegant and charming, with a pulsing, mouth-watering finish.

About the Producer
Fifth-generation vigneron Jérôme Castagnier returned to the family domaine in 2005 after a first career as a professional trumpeter in the Republican Guard. Though just four hectares, the estate’s holdings include four Grand Crus (Charmes-Chambertin, Clos Saint-Denis, Clos de la Roche, Clos de Vougeot). With a renovated cellar, extended aging, refreshed barrel program and organic viticulture, Jérôme crafts refined, precise wines that showcase purity of fruit and terroir clarity.
Food Pairing
Roast chicken with herbs, duck breast, mushroom risotto, or charcuterie. Lightly chill for extra lift with cured meats and terrines.
