Domaine Rougeot has a rooted history of making superb white wines from the famed Meursault, Burgundy. “Les Santenots” is in the Northern Meursault, home to 1er Cru red and white wines. 

The secret to this fantastic gourmet wine is to use majority whole bunch grapes, tender extraction, mature with up to 35% new oak barrels; adding surprising elegance & power.

We love the feminine, silky tannic palate, making it an excellent cellar choice for next 10-12 years and is a perfect companion with cow’s cheese, steak, pasta, and even game.

• 16 / 20 Bettane and Desseauve 2017 - "Tasted 2 samples. The first wine is well-structured, sappy but can wait to drink.  The other samples was without SO2. There is no-change of style, fruit forward and very charming."
