2020 Domaine Specht Generation Y Pinot Noir

A Pinot Noir movement started in Alsace, from light and rustic to a new charismatic style - fragrant, dense, fleshy with a nose of freshly picked wild red berries, including cherries, cranberries, strawberries, and a nose supple & soft tannins.

Unlike Pinot Noir from other producing regions in France, this Alsatian version has a much higher tone of freshly picked summer red berries, a subtle touch of vanilla, and very soft tannins. This will be a fantastic pairing of wine with a stew of all kinds - from coq au vin to pot braised beef brisket with daikon.
