Tasting Notes
The 2022 Domaine Patrick Javillier Meursault “Les Tillets” is a textbook high-slope Meursault: elegant, racy and mineral. The nose is refined and spicy, with aromas of wet stone, lemon–lime, plenty of white flowers and just a whisper of wood.
On the palate, the wine is beautifully detailed and precise, a taut middleweight that exudes pungent minerality and citrus zest. The finish is long, bitter-zest inflected and incredibly pure — a superb, finely etched Tillets of delicacy and restraint.

About the Producer
Based in Meursault, Domaine Patrick Javillier is renowned for Chardonnays that balance richness with striking mineral tension. Les Tillets is a higher-slope lieu-dit on thin, stony soils, giving a cooler, more vertical expression of Meursault. Careful pressing, controlled élevage and judicious oak use allow the site’s citrus, floral and chalky notes to shine with clarity and finesse.
Food Pairing
Perfect with seared scallops, grilled turbot, butter roast chicken, or Comté. The wine’s bright acidity and mineral core also pair beautifully with lightly creamy seafood dishes and delicate Cantonese steamed fish.
