2021 was not an easy year. Challenging weather conditions for almost entire year ultimately led to major crop failures. Frederic Savart decided to blend his Chardonnay grapes from Écueil and Trépail, which are normally dedicated for Cuvée Accomplie, Mon Benoit and Mont de Chrétiens and use them for create a brand new Blanc de Blancs. The "Drop" or some describe as a Tear, that signified a heavy hearted decision.
