Menetou Salon Blanc Tradition 2017
Why we love it
The Loire is the back garden of France, the birthplace of the Renaissance of France. With its rich history, I am intrigued to find an interesting ready-to-drink white Sauvignon Blanc wine here. I introduce to you Domaine Chavet from Menetou-Salon. A house that has not changed hands since the 17th century.
I like Sauvignon Blanc from Menetou-Salon because of its rounded, refreshing yet beautifully intense. Different from cool-climate, new world Sauvignon Blancs, sipping a classic Menetou-Salon Blanc is almost like a having freshly cut, white-fruit platter in a summer garden full of white flowers. Something that comes together like a natural harmony.
