Coquerel Signature Blend Calvados

AOC Calvados is a brandy made in Normandy, France. The fruits are harvested between Mid-September till the end of November. The blending and apple varietal selection give the Calvados a unique personality. 

• Sharp – such as Domaine and Fréquin varieties – bring equilibrium and harmony to the cider (20%).
• Bittersweet – such as Bedan, Binet Rouge or Bisquet varieties – bringing tannins to the cider (50%)

This Calvados is a blend of Calvados aged for a minimum of 2 years. On the nose, it has a refresh notes of cider, fresh apple and a hint of vanilla & sweet spices on the palate with a classy, pure and floral finish.

一般來說，釀製白蘭地的原料必須為水果，而Calvados 是一種以蘋果為原料的白蘭地，產於法國西北部諾曼第的省份Calvados。諾曼第是一個盛產水果的大區，當地出產的蘋果最為著名。製作Calvados的過程頗為與眾不同，以完全成熟至接近腐爛的蘋果榨汁，製作果味濃郁的Cidre，再將Cidre注入小蒸餾容器中蒸餾，蒸餾後的酒液必須在木桶陳存最少2年，才可正式被稱為Calvados Fine，陳存4年以上稱為VSOP，10年以上稱為XO，更有酒莊出品年份Calvados。

Domaine du Coquerel 於1937 年建立，是一家在Calvados知名的家族式酒莊，家族世代對釀製蘋果白蘭地充滿熱情，不斷改良及創新，現今出產多款高品質的蘋果白蘭地。這支COQUEREL FINE是酒莊的具標誌性的酒款，以四十種甜度、酸度、苦度都不一的蘋果混釀而成，在法國橡木桶（200-300 HL和 300 - 400 HL）中陳釀 2年。酒液呈清澈的琥珀色，帶有新鮮蘋果、淡淡的香草、果仁和甜香料氣息，入口帶有優雅、純淨的花香和香草餘韻，可以在微凍狀態飲用，或是加冰飲用，甚至配上湯力水或梳打水製成蘋果雞尾酒都非常美味可口。此高品質Calvados更榮獲International wine and spirit competition 2015金獎，質素無可置疑。
